Samurai Deeper Kyo

Towards the end of the japanese civil war known as "The Battle of Sekigahara" two warriors faced each other on the battle field. One was Mibu Kyoshiro, and the other a samurai only known as "Onime-no-Kyo" (Demon Eyes Kyo). Unfortunately tradegy would befall the two, as the fought each other a meteor hit the two where they stood and they dissappeared. Four years later, everyone is still looking for the two samurai. "Demon-Eyes Kyo" has a 1 million Ryo bounty on his head for killing 1000 men and Kyoshiro has a small bounty on his head too, for a "dine-and-dash" at an inn. A young bounty hunter by the name of Shiina Yuya, caputures Kyoshiro while he''''s travelling as a wandering pharmacist but detests him for having a small bounty on his head. As she prepares to surrender Kyoshiro to the authorities for the reward, they get attacked by some strange being. Kyoshiro tries to protect Yuya from this unearthly assailant, however he ends up getting beaten.
