Robots from the planet Cybertron, Transformers have the incredible ability to transform into vehicles. When three Earth children - Carlos, Rad, and Alexis - find a centuries-old ship from Cybertron, they accidentally unearth an ancient conflict between the two warring factions of Transformers : the Autobots and the Decepticons. Historically, the Autobots and the Decepticons have battled for control over a third race of Transformers, the Mini-Cons. Smaller than the other Transformers, the Mini-Cons are key to a crucial source of energy. Befriending the Mini-Cons, Carlos, Rad, and Alexis suddenly find themselves in the midst of an intergalactic struggle.
